Ms. Shikshya Bhattachan is a dynamic and vivacious businesswoman, currently holding the position of Managing Director at Prabhu Group. With a dual background in Business Administration and Computer Science, she brings a unique skill set to the organization and plays a crucial role in its growth and achievements. Her contributions have been instrumental in the success and expansion of Prabhu Group across international markets and diverse industries.

Ms. Bhattachan holds various leadership positions within the organization, serving as a Director at Prabhu Group Inc. in the USA, Prabhu Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Nepal Shipping Lines Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Nepal Shipping Lines Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia, Prabhu Shipping Lines in India and Prabhu Holding Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia. Moreover, she holds the esteemed position of CEO at Nepal Shipping Lines Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal and serves as a Director for Cloud Mandap Pvt. Ltd.

Recognizing the importance of staying updated with global trends, particularly in the realm of online security, Ms. Bhattachan pursued a Master of Science Degree in Cyber Security at NYU, USA. This strategic decision aimed to strengthen her knowledge and expertise in safeguarding against digital threats. By equipping herself with advanced insights into the evolving landscape of online security, she remains well-prepared to navigate potential risks and ensure the protection of Prabhu Group’s assets and operations. She represents Board from Promoter Group.

Ms. Sherchan is Bachelor Degree holder in Commerce from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. She served as a Board of Directors in Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. during 2018 to 2023. During her tenure in Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. she contributed her half of the decade to strengthen the financial growth by establishing new network points and supervision modality across the country. She started her career in Financial sector from Pokhara Finance Limited. She served the organization for 4 years starting from 1997 to 2001. Then she joined Prabhu Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd. at 2002 as a Senior Manager and still serving the company to be at the pinnacle in Nepalese remittance company.

Ms. Aryal is one of the prominent business personalities of Nepal, who is involved in business and social works equally. She is the Chairperson of Nepal Satellite Pvt. Ltd. (Hello Nepal, a GSM based European Joint Venture cellular services provider in 4 provinces of Nepal) and THAHA Media Group (THAHA – an online news portal, THAHA FM 99.40 Kathmandu and THAHA FM 99.40 Hetauda). She is a Board Member of the Muktishree Pvt. Ltd. (a holding, management and investment company), Muktishree Telecom Pvt. Ltd. (dedicated to telecom sector) and Muktishree Energy Pvt. Ltd. (established to execute various energy related projects, especially in hydropower sector) that is managing Dhading Aankhukhola Hydro Pvt. Ltd.

She is the former Board Director of then Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (since 2021.02.15 till the merger with the Prabhu Life Insurance Co. Ltd.). She is also a promoter of Mahalaxmi Bikash Bank Ltd. (One of the largest development banks in Nepal), Everest Mineral Product Pvt. Ltd. (producing high quality marbles and stones aggregate) and Hetauda Lime Industries Pvt. Ltd. (one of the oldest units that is producing high quality lime and lime stones). She is the Vice-Chairperson cum Treasurer of the Madhav Raj Sumargi Smriti Kosh (Main charitable wing of the Muktishree that has already contributed many a times for rescue, relief, shelter, spiritual centres, social causes etc.) and Chairperson of Bal Sarathi (a charitable organisation to Educate and Rehabilitate the Street and Vulnerable Children).

She is also the Advisor of Nepal Eye Hospital (First full-fledged eye hospital of Nepal with all ophthalmic sub-specialties under one roof) and Nepal Volleyball Association. Her passion and hobbies include Spiritual Activities, Social Activities, Writing and Reading, Arts, Literature, Music (Lyricist and Singing) and Fashion and Travelling.

Mr. Birendra Jung Pandey holds Master’s Degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University. He has been the Managing Director of Himalaya Traders and Exports since 2016, the company which exports Nepalese garments and handicrafts around the world.
He commenced his career from the banking sectors and stock markets. He is the one of the promoter of Jyoti Bikash Bank Ltd and Jyoti Capital Ltd. He is also actively involved at Nepalese Stock Market as investor and traders.
He represents the Board from Promoter group.

CA Gautam has pursued Chartered Accountancy (CA) from ICAI India and Dip. IFRS from ACCA, UK. He has completed his Master’s Degree in Business Studies (MBS) from TU, Kathmandu, Nepal.

CA Gautam is currently involved in G.S.N. Associates (erstwhile Gautam Shankar & Associates), Chartered Accountants, Kathmandu as Managing Partner since October, 2011. His core expertise in is Risk advisory, Business Automation, Process re-engineering, Banking, Auditing and Capital Formation. He is Founder of Sewa 360 Private Limited, Kathmandu since 2018 where ERP Software is developed as Service (SAAS). He is also Founder of Grasella Herbs Private Limited, Kathmandu; a startup engaged in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) value chain since 2018. He is Co-founder of Liberty Holdings Private Limited, Kathmandu; an investment company pulling equity from individuals for invested in pre-IPO shares and startups which have demonstrated high growth potential since 2021. He is Co-founder of Annapurna Insurance Services Private Limited, Kathmandu from the start of 2022, with the special motive of providing surveys of claims in insurance industries.

He had served as a Lecturer of MBA Programs (2017-2019) in King’s College, Kathmandu, which is affiliated with Westcliff University, California, USA. He was also Founder/Director/Lecturer (2015-2017) in Gurukul Commerce Academy Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu. Similarly, he was a Lecturer (2011-2015) in Academy of Commerce Pvt. Ltd., CCMA Pvt. Ltd., CIMA Pvt. Ltd., CAI Pvt. Ltd. and Prime Academy Pvt. Ltd. He has an experience as an Article Assistant (2007-2010) in Oswal Sunil & Company, Chartered Accountant, New Delhi, India during his initial CA career days where he showed his well aptitudes in audit planning and documentations within the deadlines. Ms. Bhawana Balayar is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting, auditing, corporate governance, and leadership. With a strong academic foundation in Business Studies, She has developed a deep understanding of financial management, risk, and compliance. Bhawana has gained valuable experience during her tenure at Joshi & Bhandary, Chartered Accountants, where she audited a range of public entities, including financial institutions and insurance companies, giving her comprehensive knowledge of the industry’s regulatory framework.

Ms. Bhawana has served as a Board of Director at both Aasha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Prabhu Bank Limited, where she actively contributed to policy development, decision-making processes, and corporate governance. Her work on various committees and subcommittees has equipped her with a deep understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance, making her well-versed in the challenges and opportunities facing financial institutions.

Currently, She is serving as the General Manager of Nepal Sea Transport Pvt. Ltd., where she is successfully driving the organization’s growth and expanding its presence on the global stage. As one of the few professionals in Nepal with specialized knowledge of the international shipping industry, She is establishing the company as a formidable player in the sector. Her diverse experience across finance, audit, and corporate leadership, combined with her in-depth knowledge of the insurance sector, positions her as a highly capable and strategic addition to the board.
